What do you think of when you hear the term ‘Coffee Snob’?  If you don’t know what a coffee snob is, then you probably think the definition of coffee snob is something negative. In reality, being a coffee snob means

that you are properly educated on the finer points of coffee; the different roasts, varietals, and brewing methods that impact the final product.  To outsiders, you appear to be a snob, but only because you cannot compromise your coffee morals by subjecting yourself to pre-ground, stale, burnt, or otherwise subpar coffee.  You cringe when you hear the word “eXpresso”, laugh when hear someone order a “triple-triple”, and cry when you see a ‘macchiato’ made with a gallon of caramel syrup!

What is a coffee snob? I am a coffee snob

CoffeeNate = Coffee Snob

Being a coffee snob is not about being a ‘snob’ at all, it’s about being educated, passionate, and informed about our beloved bean.  So don’t be ashamed to be a Cofee Snob, because that’s what I am, and I’m proud of it! I am CoffeeNate and a coffee snob!

I have awesome news about this month’s FREE coffee contest!  This month, my friend Johnny aka @BaristaOnDutY aka BODY Coffee is giving away some of his artisan pan roasted beans to 3 lucky CoffeeNate viewers!

Pan Roasted Coffee

BaristaOnDutY is a pan roasting magician!

How do you like the new video format?  I’m going with all videos being 5 minutes or less!  It’s important to me to get you some great information, but I want to give it quickly.  Please excuse the sounds of my little dudes running around during the filming.  I can’t keep them locked in the closet forever I suppose 😉  (that was a joke)  Thanks for stopping by, and please help me pay the bills by visiting my sponsors.  Take care!

SPECIAL BUY!
I loved this coffee from the Coffee Beanery, based in Flushing Michigan!  I found this coffee when I was reviewing some Kona coffee, and I liked this one almost as much as the Kona!  The %100 Kona was only $33.00 more per pound, reasonable for Kona, but the Guatemalan is a nice medium/light roast.  I recommend giving it a try, it’s the best bang for your buck! It’s called Guatemalan Huehuetenango and it is FairTrade/Organic.  At $12.99/lb it is a steal, order yours at CoffeeBeanery and get %10 off by using the Coffee Beanery coupon code: CB1010 or receive FREE SHIPPING on orders of +$40 with the Coffee Beanery promo code: CB1055
